Do I select my own Gecko Hospitality location?

This decision is yours. But if you request it, Gecko Development Corporation (GDC) will provide you with assistance in site selection. Look for sites that are located in an already developed commercial area or office complex. You will need to obtain final approval on all sites from GDC.

What assistance and continued support do I receive?

Gecko Hospitality is with you every step of the way—from our comprehensive training program to site assistance, to sales and marketing tools and pre- and post-grand opening support, through centralized billing/collections and other day-to-day operations. You will receive a confidential Gecko Hospitality Operations Manual, and our helpful management staff will communicate with you on an ongoing basis. We’re always available to you for consultation and assistance.

Do I receive any back-office assistance to help operate my franchise?

Absolutely. Gecko Hospitality handles all of the back-office functions, so you can concentrate on your candidates and clientele. Invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, marketing, advertising and website assistance are just a few of the areas of back-office support you’ll receive from our corporate office staff.

Do I need a large staff to operate my franchise?

Not at all! While additional people can help reduce your workload, many franchisees have started on their own. With today’s virtual offices, professionals can maintain contact with clients and candidates, prospect, and perform necessary paperwork via email and telephone. As your business grows, you can staff it accordingly.

Who are my customers?

All hotels, resorts, country clubs, and restaurants within your territory are potential clients, and anyone looking for a managerial position within the hospitality industry is your potential candidate. Your job is to match qualified candidates with the open positions your clients hire you to fill.

Is prior experience or knowledge required?

Yes. We specifically seek professionals with hospitality-management or hospitality-recruiting experience, as this background equips you with both the industry knowledge and contacts you need to succeed. Our comprehensive training program will augment your knowledge with the tools you need to get your business up and running.

How soon can I open my Gecko Hospitality franchise?

Once the Franchise Agreement has been signed, and your site has been selected and approved, your new business can be operational in as few as 30 to 45 days.

What is the investment range for a Gecko Hospitality office?

$64,770 to $93,670. This includes the franchise fee, initial inventory and supplies, equipment, furnishings, advertising, recommended working capital, and the training program. This investment excludes the office lease.

What types of marketing and advertising will be provided?

We will assist you in growing your business through the strategic, tactical implementations of Gecko Hospitality branding and marketing. All corporate and franchised offices participate in several advertising programs and campaigns, to which you have access from day one. Because these advertising expenses are shared, all offices can participate in numerous programs to attract the right management candidates for their clients.

What other fees can I expect to pay?

Gecko Hospitality is a royalty-based franchise. Also, some of the marketing and advertising programs we offer require participation fees to cover materials and expenses.
